5 Day Victoria Falls - Chobe National Park - Okavango Delta

On this nature trip you can experience the powerful Victoria Falls, the animal-rich Chobe River and one of the last natural paradises on earth, the Okavango Delta – in open safari vehicles, by boat and from small aircraft, in dugout canoes and by foot. An unforgettable African adventure on your tour with us!

Days 1 & 2
Arrival in Livingstone/Zambia or Victoria Falls/Zimbabwe. Greeting by your tour guide. You do a hike at the famous Victoria Falls. Here the Zambezi River is 1,7 km wide and plunges 110m over the falls, a phenomenal spectacle! Afterwards a transfer takes us over the border to Botswana, where we spend the next two nights in a stylish, idyllic lodge situated right on the Chobe River.

We undertake game drives in open safari vehicles in the animal-rich Chobe National Park. The absolute highlight is a boat trip along the banks of the Chobe River, where we can observe elephant, buffalo, crocodiles and monitor lizards, countless hippopotamus, waterbuck and a great variety of bird species The sunset over the Chobe River is quite an experience! (B)

Days 3 & 4
A short transfer takes us to Kasane airport, from where we fl y by light airplane to our lodge in the middle of the Okavango Delta. The approx. one hour flight offers fascinating views over the islands of the delta. Giraffe, buffalo and elephant are frequently observed from the air. We spend the next two nights in comfortably furnished safari tents. The lodge also has a lovely pool. In the afternoon an excursion in a Mokoro, the dugout canoes used by the natives, is on the program. The “polers“ have grown up doing this and know the ropes. On a walking safari with rangers we stop to watch buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes, warthog, kudu and waterbuck. On the following day there are morning and afternoon excursions in Mokoros and on foot. Pure Africa! (2 x B, L, D)

Day 5
After breakfast a light airplane flies us aprox. 20 min to Maun. From there we fl y to Johannesburg or other destinations. (B)

3 Day Kruger National Park and Panoramic Route

Day 1
We drive from Johannesburg directly to the Kruger National Park, where on the way to our camp we do our first game drive in the tour vehicle. Our tour guide knows the best places in the Kruger National Park to bring you closer to as much of the unique flora and fauna as possible. We spend the next two nights in chalets in the middle of the Kruger National Park. (B)

Day 2
Today before breakfast we head out in an open safari vehicle or with a ranger by foot in search of the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo) and many other types of animals such as antelope, giraffe, zebra, crocodile, hippopotamus and an unbelievable diversity of bird species. After breakfast and in the afternoon we do further game drives in the tour vehicle. (B)

Day 3

We experience a game drive along the driest salt pans and the waterholes frequently visited by animals, giving us an excellent chance of observing game. With the exception of the buffalo, the “Big Four“ can be found here. Cheetahs, jackals, giraffes and large herds of plains zebra and springbuck can also be spotted here. We spend the night in bungalows at the Namutoni safari camp. (B)
