| Hiking tours to the highlight of the Garden Route: From Cape Town to the Addo Elephant National Park (14 days) 6 – 15 guests |
On
this diverse trip nature lovers can discover and enjoy the beautiful scenery
of the Garden Route on a one-day or several-day hiking tour. We explore
the wild Langeberg Mountains in the vast, unspoiled Marloth Nature Reserve,
the impressive indigenous forests of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and the
diversity of the Addo Elephant National Park. Accommodation throughout
the multi-day tours is in simple huts with rooms of up to twelve beds.
The toilets are outside and good quality water is used from a nearby stream.
In between the different hikes we stay in various comfortable guest houses
and chalets.

trip is ideal for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers who despite intensive
nature experiences in many nature reserves do not want to miss out on
the comfort of cosy accommodation. Short transfer distances and often
two nights in the same accommodation allows for a relaxing and meaningful
trip. There is no better way to discover the beautiful coastal and mountain
landscapes than by foot. Carrying only a daypack, you will experience
the smallest yet most eclectic fl oral kingdom on earth, Capensis: off
the tourist trails you will hike on Table Mountain and around the Cape
of Good Hope, through the West Coast National Park with its spring flowers,
through the impressive stone formations of the Cedarberg mountains, along
the Panorama Trail in the Hottentot Holland Mountains and to the summit
of the Bloupunt Trail, with magnificent views over the expanse of the
Klein Karoo. You will also hike through the largest forested area in the
Western Cape in the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve and along the grandiose
coastline of the De Hoop Nature Reserve with countless bird species and
herds of blesbok and springbok, as well as a large number of Southern
Right Whales. Your tour guide is a nature-lover and is at home in these
surroundings.
