Racing bike tour along the Garden Route to Cape Town
Along the white beaches of the Indian Ocean, through evergreen forests in the desolate Karoo Steppe, through the wild solitude of the Swart Mountains in the Wine lands of the Cape and further to Cape Town one of the most beautiful metropolis in the world. Mountain passes, solitude gorges, breathtaking coastline – all on very good, European standard roads. From November to March it is the South African summer, which means, particularly for the Cape Province, cycling with lots of sun and summery weather. Our accompanying vehicle carries your luggage, transports water and bananas with us and ensures a relaxed cycle. We will sleep in selected guesthouses, lodges and small hotels where we can be pampered in a personal and relaxed atmosphere. An ideal bike tour for the more ambitious tour – just like the racing bikers who train in optimal condition in ‘winter’ and who simultaneously want to get to know the astounding beauty of the western Cape Province. The well-known Argus bike race around the Cape Peninsula with more than 35,000 participants takes place on the second weekend in March each year and presents itself as the crown highlight to this bike tour!read more...

Road bike training camp in South Africa
The first 5 days can be enjoyed in the wine lands, 125 miles away from the Metropole Cape Town. On the safe, quiet roads we pass many beautiful and inviting wineries. The route ranges from flat to slightly hilly and is framed by the up to 5400 ft high Langeberg Mountains. Finally, we cycle along the most beautiful coastal roads in the country along False Bay and the Cape of Good Hope, where the well-known annual Cape Argus Bike Race takes place in March.read more...
