Southern Africa This is a whole world within one region, whose riches in natural attractions are just as fascinating as the variety of cultures and people who live here. And all of that in a comfortable climate with one of the highest number of sun hours in the world. When the grey winter in Europe begins, the summer greets South Africa. And: southern Africa is one of the only regions in the world, which you can reach without having to worry about changing time zones, with the opposite seasons to Europe and North America!

A special highlight is the Cape Town Cycle Race – former Cape Argus Cycle Race – following the circumference of the Cape Peninsula. It always happens on the second Sunday in March. In order to prepare for the event you can choose between two cycling routes. On the road bike tour along the Garden Route to Cape Town you cycle overland Inn to Inn from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. If you join the road bike training camp in the Cape winelands you will be riding on quite country roads in the Breede River Valley, known for its very good wine.
