The south of Namibia is characterized mainly by rocky and sandy deserts. The number of towns can be counted on one hand, large deserted areas with an astonishing wealth of animals characterize the landscape. In addition to the second largest canyon on earth and the oldest desert in the world, the three-day hike with overnight stays under the Namib Desert sky is certainly the highlight of the journey. By limiting ourselves to the south of Namibia, many two night stays are often planned in order to experience country and people in more detail.
