Hiking tour around Cape Town in spring

Globally there are 5 plant kingdoms; South Africa is the only country in the world having one of them within its boundaries called Capensis. The Western Cape hosts 8% of the world plant species, this is some 18.000! That´s why the mountain ranges as well as some coastal arears have been recognized for this by having UNESCO World Heritage status. On various hikes and walks you will see them first hand. September/October in particular are the best months to see them flowering plus the Southern Right whales are roaming the coastal waters around the Cape and are easy to spot whilst hiking.
